Occasionally we come across old Bible records, or other old documents which would be of great genealogical interest to descendants of the parties recorded. These documents are collected here. We encourage DOR members to contribute other like records. Click here for our guidelines.
Bible and Other Records for Harry6 and Israel5-4 (Josiah3, John2) Terrill, transcribed by NTT, Mar. 2010: Israel Terrill was of Waterbury, CT. His son Harry was of Yates County, NY, and Kane County, IL._ A tombstone photograph (children of Israel Terrill) is included.

Bible Record for William C.6 Turrel (Caleb5-4, Daniel3-2), transcribed by NTT, April, 2010: This record, along with information from other sources, is used to support an argument that this William C. Turrel, of Susquehanna County, PA, from sometime before 1810, was descended from Caleb5 Turrel, born in Milford, CT, in 1742, whose paternal line to Roger1 is known.

My Ancestry, from the diary of Adam Thompson Terrell (1818-1842), transcribed by Elizabeth Paullin Terrell, 13 Dec. 2011. Adam Thompson6 Terrell (Jeremiah5, Adam4, Adam3, Samuel2), on the last page of his 1837-1838 diary, included records pertaining to the family of his grandfather, Adam4.
