Book A, Page 115.—[Abstract] Be it known unto all men by these presents yt I John Chatfield of Easthampton In the County of Suffolk on Long Island yeoman for and In Consideration of the sum of Thirty pounds currant money of New England by me in hand Received at and from Thomas Terrill of Easthampton aforesaid Black smith Have given granted & sold unto the said Thomas Terrill all that My one Entire part or parsell of Land lying and being in the Towne of Easthampton aforesaid Conteining by estimation two acres and an half be it more or less Limited and bounded Northward by one acre of Land belonging to John Davis weaver Southward by the land or hom lott of Enock Fithing Westward by the Street and Eastward partly by the Comon Land and partly by other Land belonging to Me the said John Chatfield To have and to hold and Quietly and peaceably to posess and doth oblige himself and his Heires Executors and Assignes from time to time and at all times hereafter for Ever as often as need shall Require To Erect set up amend Repaire maintaine and uphold sufficiently or Cause to be Erected set up amended Repaired and upheld sufficiently the one halfe of that side or Line of fence or Fencing Adjoining to the Above named hom lott or Land of Enock Fithian and which Is the Southward Boundary of the above bargained premises & that the said Thomas Terrill his Heires Executors and Assignes and every of them shall and may at all times hereafter quietly have hold Occupy possess & Enjoy all and singuler the said lands Fencing privleges and Apurtenances before in and by thes presents metioned to be given granted bargained Sold Confirmed Erected maintained and repaired and Every part and parcell thereof for ever With out any manner of Molestation Witness my hand and seale this fourth day of December 1688.

[Abstract] Be it known unto All Men by these presents yt I Benjamen Osborne of Easthampton in the County of Suffolk on Long Island within the Province of New York Yeoman : for and In Cnocideration of the sum of twenty pounds by me in hand Received of and from Thomas Terrill of Easthampton aforesaid Blacksmith have sould and Confirmed unto the said Thomas Terrill one fourth part or one fourth equall proportion of all yt my one whole share of a twenty Acre Allotment of Land throughout : Lying and being at the East end of Long Island aforesaid Being a part of a Certaine tract of Land Commonly knowne by the name of Meantauket To have and to hold without molestation as witnes my hand and seale This 23th day of March 1690-1

(Abstract) To all Christian people to whome these presents shall Come Thomas Terrill of ye town of Easthampton in the County of Suffolk upon the Island of Nassaw Blacksmith sendeth Greeting : Know yea yt for divers good Causes & Considerations him thereunto Moveing but more especially for & in Consideration of the sum of twenty pounds In Currant Money to him In hand payed By John Davis weaver of the same Town of Easthampton hath Bargained and sould unto the said John Davis all that his peece or parcill of Land lying and being in Easthampton afforesaid Conteining by estemation tw Acres & halfe be it more or Less Bounded Northward by ye Land that did formerly belong unto ye said John Davis Southward with the land or home Lott of Enoch Fithin Westward by the town street And eastwardly partly by the Townes Common & partly by the Land of John Chatfield To have to hold forever and doth warrant and the said Thomas Terrill doth farther Covinant promis & grant & firmly by these presents oblige him self his Heyres executors and administrators to and with ye said John Davis his Heires executors & Assignes from time to time and at all time hereafter forever as often as need shall Require to erect sett up Amend Repaire Mayntayne and uphold sufficiently or caus to be erected set up Amend Repayred Mantayned & upheld sufficiently one half of thatside or Lyne or fence Joyning to the home Lott or Land of the affore named Enoch Fithian which Is the Southward Boundary of the above bargained premises as witness his hand and seale the eighteenth day of Aprill Anoqr Dom 1694
