This Deed of Sale made May the Twenty Second in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and three Wittnesseth that I Thomas Terrell of Elizabeth Town in the County of Essex in East new Jersey have given granted, bargained and Sold and do by these presents give grant bargain and Sell unto my natural Brother John Terrell of Milford in the Collony of Connecticott in New England a Certaine portion of Land in quantity three acres and three Roods Lying within the bounds of Said Milford in the west field, bounded with the Said Terrill's own Land Eastwardly with a high way Northwardly, and with the Land of Mr Nicholas Camp and the Land of Joseph Camp Westwardly & the Land of Thomas Buckingham Southwardly for and in Consideration of twenty pounds & Eight Shillings & Two pence [in current pay] of the Collony of Connecticot aforesaid to me to my full Satisfaction & I the abovesaid Thomas Terrill do for my Self my heirs assigns & Successors Covenant to and with the Said John Terrill himself his heirs assigns & Successors that he the Said John Terrill his heirs assigns & Successors shall Quietly & peaceably possess and Enjoy the above said portion of Land with all of the privillidges and appertenances thereunto belonging without any Lett or molestation from me my heirs assign[s] or Successors & any other that shall from by or under me Lay any Legall Claime thereunto or any part thereof for Ever and to the full Confirmation of the Transfer I the abovesaid Thomas Terrill have hereunto Sett to my hand and Seall this 27th day of May 17003 [sic]

This Deed of Sale made the [22]d of May in the Year of our Lord Christ one thousand seven hundred and three Witnesseth that I Thomas Terrill of Elizabeth Town in the County of Essex in East new Jersey have for valluable Causes moving me thereunto and for the Consideration of three pounds and four shillings in Current pay of Connecticott Collony in New England Given Granted bargained & sold and do by these presents give grant bargain & sell unto my natural Brother Daniell Terrill of Milford in the County of new haven in New England A Certain portion of Land within the bounds of said Milford Lying undivided from my said Brothers Land in the homestead that was formerly our honoured fathers which said portion was Distributed to me as part of my Inheritance in my said fathers and Brother Josephs Lands to the value of three pounds and four Shillings: I say distributed to me by those that were Appoynted by the Honored County Court which distribution was about the 13th february 1689 I the above said Thomas Terril do Covenant to and with the abovesaid Daniell that the said Daniell Terrill himself his heirs assigns or Successors Shall Have Hold and Quietly possess and Enjoy the abovesaid portion of Land Without any Lett or molestation from me my Assigns Heirs or Successors for Ever and for the payment for the said portion of Land I the Said Thomas have Received Security to my satisfaction and I the Said Thomas further declare that the Said Daniell & his Heirs assigns or Successors Shall Have and Hold the abovesaid portion of Land with all bus[hes] trees appurtenances belonging thereunto for Ever and for the Confirmation of the abovesaid have hereunto Set my hand and Seall the Date above written.
