This Deed of Sale made this seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred ninty and four.Wittnesseth that I Thomas Terrill of Essex County in the Province of East Jarsey for and in consideration of a considerable matter of vallew in hand received already to my content Have given granted bargained and sold & doe by these presents give grant bargain & sell unto my brother Daniel Terril of Milford in the County of Newhaven in the Collony of Conecticutt in New England severall parcells of land herafter mentioned which was part of my inheritance & portion in my fathers lands who was late of Milford deceased, namly one parcell of Salt meadow lying in the great meadow containing about two acres bounded with the Beech or Sea South, with John Uffits meadow East, with a Creek North and with brother Samuell Terrill his meadow West; also another parcell of meadow containing about two acres lying in the Oyster meadow in two parts or peices bounded with Ephraim Smith his meadow North with the high way or Common West and a Creek East:Also one parcell of Upland lying on Oyster river plain which was brother Joseph Terrils last part of his division of land late of Milford deceased, which land is bounded with land that was Roger Newtons East 40 rods and a path South 24 rods, and with land that was Mr. Thomas Oviatts west 40 rods & with Common North 24 rods containing in all six acres, also one other p[ar]cell of land in the West field commonly called the Rock lott containing about twenty and three acres bounded with brother John Terrill his land East with No[r]thrups land South, with Beards land West & with a high way North, all which above said parcells of upland and meadow which was formerly my fathers Roger Terril late of Milford deceased, & my said brother Josephs late of said Milford deceased now my said Brother Daniel Terril his heirs & assigns shall have and hold and quietly possess and injoy with all the Appurtenances & priviledges therunto belonging without any lett or molestation from me my heirs or Assigns for ever, or any other person or p[er]sons that shall lay any legall claim therunto or any part therof by from under me;In wittness wherof I the abovesaid Thomas Terrill have herunto sett to my hand and seale the day and year first above written.
