This Deed of Sale Bearing date this 29th day of June 1688 Witnesseth that I Thomas Terrel of East-Hampton upon Long Island For and in consideration of Sixteene pounds in hand already received have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doe give grant bargaine and sell until Daniel Terrell of Milford in the County of Newhaven in New England all my right Title and intrest in a Certaine dweling house barn homelott & orchard scituate in Milford aforesaid which did formerly belong to my Honoured father Roger Terrell of Said Milford deceased now in the occupation of the said Daniell Terrell All which intrest right & title that I the said Thomas Terrell have or hereafter shall or may have the said Daniel Terrell is to have and to hold to him his heirs & Assignes forever And further I the said Thomas Terrell doe for me my heires Executors and Administrators Covenant to & with the said Daniell Terrell his heirs & Assigns that he the said Daniell Terrell his heires & Assigns shall Quietly & peaceabley possess hold & Enjoy all my said Right title & Intrest in the said house barne homelott & orchard with all the privilidges & Appurtinances there unto belonging forever without any lett or Molestation from any person or persons whatsoever that shall lay any Legall Claime thereunto or any part thereof — from by or under me. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the day & year above written in the 4th year of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord James James [sic] ye second by ye grace of god of England Scotland France & Ireland King Defender of the faith &c.
