To all Christian people to whom these presents shall Come greeting Know ye that I Samuel Terrill of Milford in ye County of New Haven and Colony of Connecticut in New England for and in Consideration of tht wheras my Honoured Father & Mother John & Abigail Terrill of Milford aforesd are by ye goodness of God allowed to live to old age: for which favour I pray God make me thankfull: and my Father by Reason of age and other Infirmities not being able to provide for his own support or ye support of my Mother, and I accounting my[self] as in Duty bound according to my abbility to Relieve them in there old age Do for and in consideration of a good security given to me from my brother Josiah Terrill of Milford aforesd that he ye sd Josiah Terrill will from time to time take ye whole & sole Care of our Father and Mother aforesd During ye time Natural Life so as that they may be Honourably Maintained & Supported in there old age Which is to my full Satisfaction and Contentment, Have given granted Bargained & Sold and by these presents Do fully freely an absolutely Grant Bargain and Sell unto Josiah Terrill my brother aforesd and to his Heirs & Assigns for Ever two parcells of Land Scituate within ye bounds of Milford aforesd Lying in ye West field By ye Sea Commonly known by ye name of ye Rock Lott which sd parcell of Land Contains three acres and an half be it more or Less Bounded Easterly to an high way & Southward by an high way Westward by ye Land of Serjt Jon Camp Northwardly by my own Land & by ye Land of John Derby allis Smith ye other parcell of Land Lying att Beaver Pond a place so Called which percell of Land Contains two acres more or less Bounded East with an high way Northward by ye Land of George Clarke and Common Land Westward by ye Land of Josiah Tibbals and southward by Josiah Terrill aforesd own Land with all ye Priviliges & appurtenances present & futurte ye sd Josiah Terrill is to Have and to hold to him his Heirs and assigns as a free absolute and Indefeazable Estate of Inheritance to his and there own proper use Behooffe benefit for Ever hereby for me and my heirs Warranting to ye sd Josiah Terrill and his heirs and assigns that I am ye true & Lawfull Owner of ye Premises and have full power and authority in and of my self to alienate ye same In Manner & form as abovesd and yt he ye sd Josiah Terrill Shall Quietly and peacably Possess and Enjoy ye same & him his heirs and assigns in ye Peacable Possession thereof and of every part & parcell thereof we will for Ever Defend
