This Deed of Sale Bearing date this 29th day of June 1688 Witnesseth that I Samuell Terrell of Brookhaven in the County of Suffolk upon Long Island for and In Consideration of Sixteene pounds in hand Already received have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doe give grant bargaine and sell unto Daniell Terrell of Milford of Milford [sic] in the County of Newhaven in New England all my right title and Intrest in a Certaine dwelling house barn home lott and orchard scituate in Milford afforesaid which did formerly belong unto my Honoured Father Roger Terrell of Said Milford deceased de_eased now in the occupation of the said Daniell Terrell all which Interest right and Title that I the said Samuell Terrell now have or hereafter shall or may have, the Said Daniel Terrell is to have and to hold to him his heires and assignes forever. And further I the said Samuell Terrell doe for me my heires Executors and administrators Covenant to and with the said Daniel Terrell his heires and assignes That he the said Daniel Terrell his heires and Assignes shall Quietly and peaceably possess hold and Enjoy all my said Right title and Interest in the said house barn home lott and orchard with all the privilidges and Appurtinances there unto, belonging forever without any lett or molestation from any person or persons what soever that shall lay any Legall Claime there unto or any part thereof from by or under me. In Witnes whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and year above written and in the 4th year of the reigne of our Sovereigne lord James the Second by the grace of god of England Scotland France and Ireland King defender of the faith etc.
