These wittnesseth that the constable and overseears haue agreede with samuell Turell of esthampton as followeth that the saide samuell Turell doth ingaege to come and liue in this towne amongst us and doe the townes worke at his traede being a blacksmith and worke to the best of his scill for the towne upon his traede and to worke as cheape as others or as he can well aford to worke for and in concideration the townes men in the behalue of the towne doth grant and haue given unto the aboue sayd samuell Turell twenty akers of land as followeth that is to say seven akers for a home lott next beyound the greate hollow and fiue akers in the litle neck and the Rest aboute the south west devission and if the sayd Turell shuld hapen to Remoue then the land to faele to the towne againe that is to say within thre yeares as alsoe the saide Turell is to haue halue a comeneg fore feede that is to say haue allottment throughout for upland and medow if it be to be had and the aboue sayd Turell haue ingaeged to come to work at or before the midle of aperell next ensueing.

It was voeted and agred upon that Samuell Turell shall haue the twenty akers of land or halue acomadations with comeneg belonging to it that is to say 5 akers in the little neck and the rest maad up where it can be found convenient akording as is formerly was Recorded upon the same conditions butt if the said Turell shuld remoue with in three yeeres then the land to Return to the towne againe but if he stayeth longer then to be the said samuell Turells and his haires to haue and to hould for ever.
