At a Court of Probate held in Woodbury March 7th 1769 David Terrill and Reuben Sherman Executors on ye Last Will and Testament of Roger Terrill Late of sd Woodbury Decesd appeared and Exhibited sd Will in order to its approbation Which being Read and Considered and no objection Made against it. Was allowed and approved & accepted to be Recorded and is as followeth.

In the Name of God Amen
I Roger Terrill of Woodbury in the County of Litchfield and Colony of Connecticut in New England being Weak of Body but of Sound Mind. Calling to Mind the Mortality of Body Knowing that it is appointed to all men once to Die Do Make this my Last Will & Testament and first of all I Give and Recommend My Soul to God who Gave it and my Body to the Earth to be Buried in Decent Manner in hopes of a Resurrection thereof at the Last Day to Eternal Life through the meer Merrits of Jesus Christ, and as to What Worldly Estate God hath Blessed me With & Give Demise & Dispose of the Same in manner and form following (viz) -

Imprimis I Give unto my beloved Wife Elizabeth Twenty Shilling Lawfull money out of my Estate With What I am to give her as Mentioned in an Instrument Signed and Sealed before our Marrage Dated March 26th 1750/1.

Item I Give to my Grandson Elijah Martin five Shillings Lawfull money being the full of the Portion of my Estate Due to my Daughter Mary.

Item I Give and Demise unto my beloved Daughter Phebe Roots five Pounds Lawfull Money or Estate at Inventory Price which together with What She hath already had is the full of her Portion.

Item My Will is and I Do hereby Give unto my beloved Daughter Betty Prestiss five Shillings Lawfull Money it being the Remaining Part of her Portion.

Item My Will is and I Do hereby Give all the Remaining Part of my Estate both Real and personall unto my Beloved Son David Terrill and to his Heirs and Assigns forever Provided that no Gift Demise Sale allienation of my Real Estate hereby Demised to him shall be good and authentick in Law for the Transfering of the fee of sd Estate to any other Person Whatsoever Without the Concent Advice and Direction of the Court of Probate in and for the Destrict of Woodbury.

and I do hereby Constitute and appoint My sd Son David Terrill and my friend Daniel Fairchild of sd Woodbury to be Executors of this My Last Will and Testament hereby Revoceking and Disanulling all Wills and Testaments by Me heretofore made. In Witness hereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 31st Day of August AD 1764: Signed Sealed and Declared by the Testator as his Last Will.

I Roger Terrill the above Testator Do hereby Constitute and appoint my Trusty friend Reuben Sherman Executor on the above Will and Testament instead of Daniel Fairchild, Decesd, as Witness my hand this 13th Day of March 1766.

At a Court of Probate Held in Woodbury March 7th 1769 the Executors on the Last Will and Testament of Roger Terril Late of Woodbury Decesd appeared and Exhibited an Inventory of sd Estate and made oath to the truth thereof Which was acceped to be Recorded and is as followeth:
