Know all men by these presents that I John Terril of Milford in the County of New Haven In his majesties Colony of Connecticut in New England for and In Consideration of ye Natural Love I I [sic] bear to and affection I have To my dutyful son Samll Terrill of Milford & County and Colony Aforesd do Give and bequeath and firmly by these Presents make over unto my sd son Saml Terril severall peices of Land & meadow As Viz: Part of my homelott the Wester side: Containing about 2 acres or all west of ye dividing fence be it more or Less bounded Northerly to Biscos Land Easterly with my own Land and Southerly wt sd Sons own Land and Westerly wt a highway. Also one more peice of Land att a place Called Spring Lott containing about Eight Acres bee it more or less bounded Northerly wt a highway and Easterly wt Daniel Terril and Southerly with Thomas Tibbals and Westerly wt Saml Tibbals Also one peice att a place Called ye Rock Lott Containing about Twleve acres be it more or Less being all my Right & title in To sd Land att that place bounded Northerly wt a highway & Easterly wt Tibbals and Smith and a highway and Southerly wt a highway and westerly wt Camp & Daniel Terrill.

Also one more piece att a place Called ye New Westfield Containing four acres being bounded with Garnsey Land Northerly and Easterly wt my own Land and Sotherly wt Tlibbals Land and Westerly with an highway also Meadow att ye Creek ye well or Spring peice bounded wt ye Creek & Sergt Rogers and ye Long peice bounded Westerly with the Creek and Northerly & Easterly with Fords & Southerly wt Camps Also two more ^ small pieces Lying between ye two peices Mentioned before bounded with a Creek and fords Land All my Rights to sd meadow att ye Creek All wc sd parcells of Land and Meadow above mentioned wt all ye priviliges and appurtenances thereunto belonging I do Give and bequeath bargain Sell and Sett Over to my sd son Samll Terrill from myself and my heirs unto him and his heirs for Ever to be his free and Indeafezable Estate of Inheritance without Any Lett hindrance or Molestation to be made by me or my heirs or Assigns for Ever and further I do for me and my heirs and assigns for Ever Covenant to and wt son Samll Terrill and his heirs and assigns to Defend hm in the Quiett & Peacable Posession of all and Every part and parcell thr of & against all ye Lawfull Claims made by any from by or under us or any or any [sic] other person whatsoever, and for ye Confirmation of ye abovesd Instrument I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this 25th Day of Janry one Thousand seven hundred and Twenty and In ye sixth year of his majesties Reign.
