28 Oct. 2011 [CWT]: In the original 24 July 2011 version I wrote that the William Terry of Chesterfield County, SC, in 1830 "was probably a William Terry who was living there in 1820 (one male of age 26 to 44 engaged in agriculture, two males under 5, and one female 16 to 25)." Actually, this was a William Terrell household, and that should have read "two males under 10 [not 5]." There were no Terry households listed in Chesterfield County SC in 1820. But this William Terrell household could certainly have been the William Terry household of 1810 and 1830. There were no William Terrell households there in 1810 or 1830 (or 1840).
